What: Exhibition by the basketmakers of
Tasmania
When: Opens Sunday
14th October at 3 pm Then daily 10 am – 5 pm till 4th
November.

Gallery, 32 Deviot Road, Robigana, West Tamar.

On Sunday 28th October at Artisan Gallery on the West Tamar there
will be a gathering of basket makers from around Tasmania. The occasion is the
opening of their exhibition
“Gather” which will be performed by Paul Jenkins, Executive Director for
Tasmanian Regional Arts.
There are both functional and sculptural baskets, wall
hangings and a chair made from willow
in the exhibition. All are very individual works of art in there own
right with that innate beauty that handcrafted work possesses.
